What is All Notions?

All Notions is a place to exchange ideas. Users can ask questions (or submit Notions, as we call them) and other users can answer them using whatever form of media they like.

So? I can do that other places.

Ah, but they key of All Notions is whatever form of media you like. There are answer sites out there, but we found them a bit too restrictive. The sites are usually built with just one type of answer in mind. We wanted to remove those limitations and give the user complete control of how they answer, and out of this desire came All Notions.

If you think the answer to “What do you think the next Xbox will look like?” is best expressed in essay format, go for it. Or got a cool drawing of what you think it might be? You can post that too. It’s up to you.

Neato. What forms can I post my answers in?

We started by putting ourselves in your shoes – by thinking, “how many different ways can I answer this question?” We counted five: a text-based answer, a link, a video, a picture or a blurb (a shorter bit of text - like a quote). Tell us if you think of more.

How do I get started?

First, click here to get an account on All Notions. After that it’s up to you – if you’ve got something on your mind you can create a new subject, or just browse the most popular subjects and get started on answering.

What if the question I want has already been asked?

If the exact same question (down to the letter) has been asked already, we’ll direct you to that question. We hope you’ll find what you’re looking for, but if not – re-phrase it and ask again.
