Updates
While we think version numbers are totally awesome, we find it better
to bring the new features to you (the user) as quickly as possible. That's why we do it by what we call "rolling updates" - implementing the updates
as they're finished, accompanied by a simple notification on the homepage to let you guys know that something new has arrived.
We think it's better for everyone this way. Hope you agree.
Updates are sorted from newest to oldest, so the update closest to the top of the page will be the latest one.
April 28, 2009 - Change Password & Password Recovery
As promised in our last update, the Manage Account page will be continually expanding. The newest feature: the ability to change your
password. Simple enough, eh?
The other newest feature is a password recovery system (you can find the link on the login page).
Please note that we do this via email (by sending you a new, temporary password that you can change once you log in), so if you currently can't access the email
address we have on file with you (if it's old, or, well, made up) and think you may ever forget your password, now would be an excellent time to
change your email address to a current/valid one. But hey, if you don't want to, that's cool too. Your choice.
April 27, 2009 - Manage Account & Change Email
Another common issue we heard is that once your account was created, your account details were set in stone. Well, no longer. If you look to the sidebar you'll find the Manage Account link, where you can change various account settings. For the moment you can only change your email address, but look out - more options are coming very soon.
April 25, 2009 - Flow Problems
We've had quite a few users voice their issue with login bringing you back to the home page. To alleviate this problem, users are now returned to the notion they were viewing just prior to login.
April 25, 2009 - Subjects? Not anymore.
We realized that calling things "subjects" on a site called AllNotions was a bit silly. We've therefore universalized
everything across the site (menus, etc.).
You now come to AllNotions to submit notions. Like it should be.
April 23, 2009 - Minor Signup Improvements
Signup has been improved. But we're not telling you how.
April 22, 2009 - Video Questions
We noticed some of you were trying at ask questions with YouTube videos, so we've implemented a system where, if you post a YouTube link in your question itself, it'll automatically embed itself into the page. For example!

Fixed some issues concerning signup and search. Not much else to say. But less about us - how are you doing?
April 15, 2009 - Internet Explorer Issues
The issues some of our Internet Explorer friends were having with the Signup and Login pages are fixed. Sorry for any inconvenience this may've caused you, guys!
April 12, 2009 - Remember Me
With a little bit of Easter coding, a Remember Me button has been added to the login page so you won't have to log in every time you visit the site.
April 11, 2009 - Random Notion
COMMENCE TRANSMISSION: A Random Notion link has been added to the side menu. It randomly brings you to one of many notions. END TRANSMISSION
April 10, 2009 - Delete
Users are now able to delete the answers that they have posted in response to a question. That is all.
April 7, 2009 - User Profiles
See the little "My Profile" link that's jumped into the right side menu? User profiles allow other users to very quickly see what other users have been up to. Clicking on a username anywhere on the site will bring you to that user's profile, where you can see an up-to-the-minute list of subjects the user has created and answers they've posted.
